Job Summary
The Import & Export Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating the international shipment of goods. This role involves handling documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, liaising with CHA , Bank & RBI formalities and coordinating with internal teams to facilitate smooth import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Import Operations:
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for smooth import operations.
- Ensure timely clearance of imported goods by managing documentation such as Bill of Entry, Packing List, and Invoice.
- Monitor import duties, taxes, and government regulations affecting imports.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery by managing logistics and supplier coordination.
- Maintain records of imported goods and coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage and inventory management.
- Bank Regularization formalities and taking care of paper work related to payment of imported goods.
- Imported Inventory management
Export Operations:
- Handle all export-related documentation, including Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Coordinate with buyers, logistics providers, and customs authorities for smooth shipment processing.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and government policies (DGFT, Customs, and other regulatory bodies).
- Negotiate freight rates and select suitable shipping lines or freight forwarders for cost-effective transportation.
- Follow up with banks for Letter of Credit (LC) , LC Documentation and other trade-related financial transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree , with diploma in Export-Import or Supply Chain or Logistics
- 3-5 years of experience in import/export operations in any mid sized company
- Strong knowledge of EXIM policies, documentation, and trade compliance in India.
- Familiarity with DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) rules, customs procedures, and GST regulations related to trade.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) , Experience in any ERP/SAP added advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for handling trade-related challenges
