SUNLITE® PLUS MULTI-WALL POLYCARBONATE
With built-in condensation control for commercial greenhouses & garden centers
SUNLITE Plus multi-wall polycarbonate offers the same light transmission, rigidity, durability, insulation, and co-extruded UV protection as standard SUNLITE, but it also features built-in condensation control. Palram’s proprietary condensate control technology helps maximize light transmission by minimizing condensation droplet formation that would otherwise reflect valuable sunlight. And by reducing or eliminating condensate drip, various moisture-related diseases can also be avoided in the crop below, improving crop quality and yield. SUNLITE Plus is also suitable for garden centers and other potentially humid public areas such as covered swimming pools and spas.
SUNLITE is just one product Palram offers for these market segments
FEATURES FOR PROFESSIONAL HORTICULTURISTS
Most multi-wall polycarbonate products are lightweight, virtually unbreakable and offer very good light transmission. But SUNLITE Plus is available with unique features that truly matter to greenhouse growers, such as:
- Built-In Condensation Control Helps to minimize condensate droplets that reflect as much as 30% light transmission, and that can cause moisture-related disease in the crop below. The increased light transmission is especially beneficial during winter months with shorter day lengths.
- Optional High-Diffusion Light-diffusing tints allow for high levels of light transmission, but help reduce harsh shadows caused by structural members, equipment, and even the plant canopy itself. Diffused light penetrates deeper into the plant canopy to foster growth throughout the plant.
- UV and Hail Protection Warranted for 10 years against loss of light due to UV degradation, and against damage due to hail. SUNLITE has been in use for more than 25 years around the globe. It can handle Mother Nature’s most extreme weather and UV exposure.
- Suitable for any Structure SUNLITE can be used for gable-peak, arch, and most Gothic arch style structures. Can also be used to retrofit glass, poly-film, and fiberglass covered structures. Extremely tough, but lightweight, multi-wall polycarbonate can reduce the cost of the supporting structure.
