SHENZHEN UNIVERSIADE SPORTS CENTRE, CHINA

The main stadium of the Universiade Sports Centre is one of three venues built for the 2011 Universiade games. It had the largest polycarbonate roof in the world upon its completion. Palram was deeply involved in the project from early design stages, including consultation at design meetings across the globe and characterization of the polycarbonate roof panels' properties and the installation system used. The project required a custom-designed installation system, which Palram developed with the main architect and local design company.
