Allianz Parque, popularly known as 'Palestra Itália Arena', is one of the most advanced multipurpose stadiums in Brazil. Opened in 2014, the São Paulo stadium meets the highest standards of FIFA and was built to receive shows, concerts, corporate events and especially football matches of the Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras team. Clear Suntuf panels cover the inner part of the roof to shelter from rains and admit natural daylight to minimize shading of the playing ground.
